Fat Samurai
About
Although Fat Samurai is most well known as Callum’s main musical project, it has represented much more than that in the past and continues to expand the boundaries of what it encompasses.
Currently, Fat Samurai is being used to publish written work in Vancouver, Canada, where Callum is pushing his writing into new spaces and new themes.
Whilst his last two EPs, Chrysanthemums and Nadir, dealt with addiction and recovery, Callum is now drawing more from folklore and mythology, seeing great opportunities for healing and actualisation in those topic’s intersection with the natural world. Homes is a self-published poetry installation at Coal Harbour, Vancouver that marks the beginning of Callum’s published explorations of more spiritual areas.
Callum has had his prose published in two UK magazines, Northern Life, and Bonk Mag during his time studying and working in Leeds, where he currently lives full-time.
